Thressis
Create a non-narrative art short film with an overall temperament of cold, damp, suspended, slowly tilting, with a slight eeriness of dreams and reality overlapping. The film revolves around an entity named Thressis, which is not a monster, but an echo lingering in the gaps of consciousness, spatial surfaces, and body memory. The work hopes to capture an unspeakable mood: like sitting on a long ride after leaving a place, the scenery outside the window receding, the body already departed, yet consciousness still remaining where it was. The picture begins with black and distant hoofbeats; a girl falls asleep in her bedroom, turns over, and falls into an alien space filled with liquid, bones, membranous structures, and huge eyes; she suffocates, struggles, wakes with a start, then follows an afterimage sweeping through the room into the city. In the city, a huge Thressis floats in the sky; its reflection appears in puddles; building corners begin to grow alien structures like ecological bones. Finally the girl enters the alien space again and stands before a giant eye. The ending returns to the city; the camera pushes toward her eye, and when it pulls back, her eye has become a biological eye. The film does not tell a complete story, but through spatial switches, liquid, reflections, wind, breathing, bones, eyes, and recurring hoofbeats, constructs a visual experience of emotional residue, spatial drift, and echoes of consciousness. The overall aesthetic references art exhibition imagery, experimental short films, real photographic texture, and bio-alien structures.
